On 25 October 2020, an agreement was signed between Open Institute of City University of Macau and Macau Explorer Cultural Travel to co-organise executive training programmes for executives, senior/ middle management, and professionals from the Greater Bay Area.

The Agreement was signed by Professor José Alves, Director of Open Institute; and Mr Manuel Wu, Managing Director of Macau Explorer Cultural Travel.

The Agreement sets out the joint commitment to promoting social and cultural exchange and links between Macau and the Greater Bay Area.

The first bespoke training programme for a group of Shenzhen professionals in the art and design industry will take place from 28 October to 3 November 2020.
