Co-organised by British Council and Open Institute of City University of Macau, the launch function of computer-delivered IELTS (CDI) was held on 23 October at the Golden Dragon Campus of City University of Macau (CityU).

The function began with welcome addresses from Mr Tim Moore, Cluster Director of British Council and Prof José Alves, Director of Open Institute of CityU. Dr Lisa Yip, Business Development Manager of Examinations Services of British Council Hong Kong then gave an introduction to the computer-delivered IELTS to the invited principals, counsellors, teachers, and representatives from a number of secondary schools in Macau.

Starting from the weekend of 16 November, CDI will be available in Macau at the Open Institute of City University of Macau, and it will be held at the Golden Dragon Campus of CityU, an official test venue for CDI Exam in Macau.

With CDI there are more test dates available, test takers can choose IELTS at a time convenient for them, and they will receive their results in 5 to 7 days.
