On 21 – 22 April, the participants of Colóquio de Capacitação das Pequenas e Médias Empresas dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (Workshop on Capacity of SMEs from the Portuguese Speaking Countries) visited Jiangmen and Guangzhou in Guangdong province, and took part in the ‘Dynamic Macau Business and Trade Fair – Guangdong Jiangmen’ hosted by the Macau Convention and Exhibition Association.

During the trip in Guangdong province, the participants visited a number of sites including Hisense (Guangdong) Air Conditioning Co. Ltd., Binjiang New City Exhibition at the Jiangmen Sports Centre, Wavelab Telecom Equipment (Guangzhou) Ltd., Guangzhou Bonded Zone, Guangzhou Topsun Logistics Service Co. Ltd., and Guangzhou Magic Purchase E- commerce Co. Ltd., and attended two lectures titled 'Logistics and Customs Clearance in International Trade' and 'The Development of Cross border E-commerce', respectively by Mr Shue Tong, General Manager of the Guangzhou Topsun Logistics Service Co. Ltd.; and Mr Kenny Qu, General Manager of Guangzhou Magic Purchase E- commerce Co. Ltd..
