Co-organised by Training Centre of Forum Macau (Centro de Formação do Fórum de Macau) and Open Institute of City University of Macau, Workshop on Financial Cooperation for the Portuguese Speaking Countries (Portuguese: Colóquio sobre a Cooperação Financeira para os Países de Língua Portuguesa) and Workshop on Production Capacity Cooperation for the Portuguese Speaking Countries (Portuguese: Colóquio sobre a Cooperação da Capacidade Produtiva para os Países de Língua Portuguesa) commenced on 22 May and will continue through until 4 June.

Both workshops brought together more than 40 government officials, financial analysts, business executives, academics, government consultants, industry representatives and senior technicians from the Portuguese Speaking Countries, namely Brasil, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, Portugal, and São Tomé e Príncipe. Participants will attend a series of lectures and conferences, as well as undertake visits to government departments, associations and companies in Macau, Nanjing and Changzhou.

The participants will go on a field trip to Nanjing and Changzhou from 22 – 26 May.
